FameCake is a platform that allows you to sell unsold ad space on your digital billboards for personal messages, celebrations, and announcements. We connect you with customers who want to book short, personal "FameCakes" (like a giant digital greeting card). This helps you monetize your unsold or filler inventory automatically, creating a new revenue stream with minimal effort.
Getting set up is incredibly simple. From your publisher settings page, you'll download a tiny, lightweight HTML file. You just need to add this file to the "filler" or "default" slot in your existing ad scheduling software. Once it runs, the file will automatically map your billboard in our system, making it instantly available for bookings.
No, it is not difficult at all. The entire process is designed to be seamless and non-intrusive. The FameCake HTML file runs only in your filler slot, meaning it will never override or interfere with your directly sold or programmatic ad campaigns. It only displays a FameCake when you have no other ad scheduled to run.
Our system is fully automated. When the HTML file runs on one of your screens, it communicates with our server. The server identifies the specific billboard and its aspect ratio, then serves the correct, approved FameCake that has been booked for that day. If no FameCake is booked, it will automatically display a relevant "House Ad" that you have designated, ensuring your screen never goes blank.
You can register for a publisher account directly on our website. All you need is a valid email address and to set a password. The sign-up process is quick, free, and gives you immediate access to your publisher dashboard.
Absolutely. You have 100% control. Every FameCake submitted for one of your billboards appears in the "New" tab on your Posts page. You can preview the exact creative and message before it goes live and must personally click "Approve" for it to be scheduled.
In your publisher dashboard, navigate to the "Posts" page. Under the "New" tab, you will see all pending bookings. Each booking has a "View" button that opens a preview of the creative. From there, you can simply click the "Approve" or "Reject" button.
If you reject a booking because it doesn't meet your standards or our content guidelines, we handle all communication with the advertiser. The customer will be notified and given the option to redesign their FameCake or receive a refund. You are not involved in the customer service process.
We understand mistakes can happen. You can revoke approval for any ad, even one that is already live. Simply find the booking in your "Approved" list and you will have the option to reject it. This will immediately remove it from the playout loop on your billboard.
House Ads are default creatives that you select to run on your billboards when no paid FameCake has been booked for that day. This ensures your screen always displays content and never appears blank. You can designate any approved ad as a House Ad, and our system will automatically select one that matches the aspect ratio of the screen.
You set a base price that you wish to earn for each full-day booking on any of your billboards. We add our platform fee and payment processing fees on top of your price, which is what the final customer pays. You receive your set amount for every completed booking.
In your publisher "Settings" page, you can enter the amount you want to earn per booking. This price will apply to all your billboards on the platform. You can update this price at any time.
Your earnings accumulate in your dashboard in real-time. At the beginning of each calendar month, your total earnings from the previous month will be paid out to you securely via our payment partner, Stripe. You can connect your bank account or debit card through the "Manage payments" section in your settings.

The payout amount you receive is your set price multiplied by the number of bookings. However, as noted in the settings, your final payout may vary slightly due to standard payment processing fees or currency conversions, depending on your bank and location.
Yes. You can grant access to your team members by adding their email addresses in the "Manage your team access" section of your settings. They will be able to log in with their own accounts to manage ads (approve/reject), but they will not have access to your earnings, payment information, or team management settings.
Share Links are affiliate links that you can create and share to promote your own billboards. If you want to actively drive bookings to your screens, you can use these links on your website, social media, or in other marketing materials. When a customer makes a booking after clicking your link, you are credited with the sale. Our system uses a "last link clicked" attribution model.
